
Min Rose
Interim Director for Research and Knowledge Exchange
Min has 28 years’ professional experience promoting international collaboration across higher education sector, trade and investment, culture and civic engagement, during which 19 years have been dedicated to UK-China bilateral collaboration.
Min was the Deputy Director Knowledge Exchange Asia at Research and Innovation University of Nottingham UK between 2011 and 2021. She has been seconded to University of Nottingham Ningbo China (UNNC) in 2021 and serve as the Interim Director for Research and Knowledge Exchange. She is currently leading the development of the new initiative of International Proof of Concept to promote technology transfer, and the future plan for the Incubator.
Previously she was the China Business Advisor at East Midlands Development Agency (2006-2011) and the Co-ordinator of Leicestershire-Sichuan Trade Bureau (2004-2006), supporting international trade and foreign direct investment between China and the UK.
Min was commended by Mulan Awards in 2015 (Public Service) which celebrates Chinese women’s achievements in the UK; won the Vice-Chancellor’s Awards in 2016 and 2024; won the Female Employee of the Year at East Midlands Chamber in 2017.
